Community Southwark - Volunteer Spotlight

Every month, Community Southwark is showcasing an inspirational volunteer story from a Southwark organisation. And in October and November they featured stories of Rosy and Shahida, Home-Start Southwark's volunteers who both later became Family Support Practitioners.

Rosy described how working with Home-Start is ‘following a dream. I am joining working with Home-Start Southwark in their dedication to helping children through their families who are the ‘core of the society”.

Shahida talked about how small changes can make a massive impact on families: ‘that was a really big thing, small changes to a more positive outcomes. That came out from working with her, and I think that stayed with me. It felt like an achievement. It seems so small, but they make a big impact.’
